Conclusion with Nirvana Shatakam

When Adi Sankara was a young child, he approached Guru Govindapaada for seeking guidance. When he was asked to introduce himself, the young Sankara offered in six verses the true nature of the Self.

In these verses known as Nirvana-shatakam, Adi Sankara introduced himself as Shivam, the One, who is void of the ego, beyond the gross, subtle and casual embodiments, unattached and thus unaffected by the fruits of actions, unconditionally free and untouched by the cycle of birth or the desire of liberation, ever with equanimity, with no burden of birth or death, still, void of actions, as the ultimate-noumenal, infinite-knowledge and absolute-bliss.

Only to teach the world, Sankara, the Self-realized Seer, submitted to learn under the Guru Govindapaada and offered unconditional surrender to anyone who has mastered the atma-vidya and remain as the Self-realized Seer. This is confirmed in the Manisha Panchakam.
Thus Nirvana-shatakam, the self-introduction of the greatest Seer, Jagadguru Adi Sankara, is presented as fitting conclusion, for the study of Manisha Panchakam.
